President's Message
As our name suggests, the Central Fraser Valley Woodcarvers is a group of carving enthusiasts, brought together by our love of wood. Our group includes every level, from 'beginner' to 'expert' with support & encouragement for all!
Not only do we practice traditional carving techniques, such as 'in the round', chip, relief, cane, caricature, bark, etc., we also practice many decorative applications, such as wood burning, wood colouring, sculpture and finishing.
The creative focus of our club is broad, but our direction is narrow; for all of our members to have fun, to be inspired & to enjoy the company of like-minded people.
